The 2022 GT 4-door Coupe builds on its past success with greater comfort and new individualized options.

Since its introduction, the Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door Coupe has offered a world-class driving experience without compromising on functionality. The 2022 model delivers on that promise and then some. A 3-seat rear bench, bringing the total seats to five, it newly available for the U.S. market. It provides the ability to fold-flat for storage of large items, while being well-suited to a variety of lifestyle pursuits. Up front, a new generation of the AMG Drive and the surround-view camera are now standard on all U.S. variants. V8 variants come with a standard heated steering wheel, while the GT 53 and 63 models are available in distinctive Silver Chrome Exterior Package (previously only available on the 63 S). Lastly, the GT 53 also comes with an optional AMG Exterior Carbon Fiber Package.

The levels of customization don't stop there. New exterior colors have been introduced, such as the Starling Blue Metallic, and MANUFAKTUR Starling Blue Magno (matte). For an even more sporty appearance, the new AMG Night Package II provides aggressive design notes such as the ark chrome radiator grille. This package also adds at the rear, the AMG logo, Mercedes star and model designation in black to add striking accents. The same applies to the lettering on the front fenders. Inside, a wider choice of interior trims allow you to emphasize the sporty or luxurious side of the GT 4-door Coupe, exactly yo your personal desires. New combinations include Exclusive Nappa Titanium Grey Pearl/Black with contrasting yellow stitching and Exclusive Nappa Auburn Brown/Black in the STYLE finish (diamond stitching). Matching floor mats with an embroidered AMG logo round out the refined, handcrafted look.

But nor matter which combination you choose, the new GT 4-door Coupe also comes with increased comfort and sportiness. The reconfigured AMG RIDE CONTROL+ suspension is based on a multi-chamber air suspension system, combined with a completely new adjustable damping system for applicable models. For the first time, two pressure limiting valves are used, allowing the damping force to be adjusted even more precisely. This allows passengers to be almost completely shielded from uneven road surfaces while the car remains stabilized. In just milliseconds, the suspension control unit analyzes the data, and the the damping adjusts based on the acceleration and wheel path sensors. This has allowed AMG engineers to significantly increase the spread between sportiness and comfort. All the driver has to do is preselect their setup from the AMG DYNAMIC SELECT drive programs. Settings like"Sport+" and "Comfort" allow you to adjust the handling characteristics on the fly, while the tuning can be further adjusted in threes stage independently via a dedicated button.

The finishing touch is the newly implemented AMG Performance steering wheel which offers tangible and visible added value with its distinctive twin-spoke design and seamlessly integrated buttons. It detects the presence of your hands while haptic feedback makes control even easier. Plus, the AMG SPEESHIFT MCT 9-speed transmission can be operated completely by hand via the aluminum shift paddles fro applicable models. Overall, the driving experience that comes with the GT 4-door Coupe has never been better. With the 2022 model, the array of options and added levels of comfort make it even more impressive and tailored exactly to your liking. The 2022 Mercedes-AMG GT 4-door Coupe will arrive later this year.
